Most definitely have experienced seasons of burnout in my career & waves of it during this COVID 19 season. At the beginning, I didn't have the tools or mindset to be able to recognize when it was compounding, but more recently, I've been working on asking myself better questions. โฃ

For me, burnout has a direct correlation to my energy. If my energy is off, then things pile up, so does the stress, and that's when burnout comes in hot. By being intentional each day and asking myself, how can I generate more joy today? And what does that energy look like? goes a long ways. Doing the small things that are so easy not to do, are often the ones that matter most, in picking myself back up. โฃ

Shout out to the author Brendon Burchard for this, he is the real burnout master! Working out in the morning & putting on real clothes helps me too!โฃ
